Meet Daryl Dixon
Founder of Diversity Resource Group
Daryl, an Atlanta native, began his career as a classical singer, performing across the U.S. and Europe, including a historic performance at St. Peter’s Basilica for Pope John Paul II. After turning down a tour with Harry Belafonte, he transitioned to workforce diversity, founding the respected Diversity Resource Group (DRG). Now a leading expert, Daryl consults for organizations from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies and is a sought-after speaker at national conferences like SHRM. With a BA from Morehouse and a Master of Divinity from George Fox University, he published his acclaimed book, Managing Diversity: What Managers & Supervisors Need to Know to Manage Diversity Effectively, in 2020.

Collaboration, creativity, and inclusion are hallmarks of Daryl’s ability to bring people together. He seeks answers to solve difficult problems and is mindful of the stakeholders whose input is a strong component of his solutions. Daryl has a unique ability to listen to others and communicate with compassion and empathy.
